You are looking for information on our IB DP here at SISS? Courses that we offer? Want to find out more about the IB DP in general? Understand the entry requirements for the IB DP?Or have questions about the “Anerkennung des IB Diplomas in Deutschland?”
So, what’s next? College? If yes, what should I take? Which choices are best for my career? Will I need to move? These are all questions which arise to us, one day or another. After the IGCSE, we start entering an age at which these questions become relevant to us and we start asking ourselves what the next steps might be. The current year 11 and 12 students of SISS feel this ever so present pressure of decision making coming closer and closer.
On Tuesday 5th of November the Chess Team of Schuldorf Bergstraße took part in the Schulschachpokal competition where more than 100 teams fought for a trophy. Our team has managed to win the cup without loosing any game in WK 2 group (students over 14 yeyars). In WK 4 group our team came 4th, a very good result fort the first participation in this group age. Congratulations to our students and Mr. Munteanu who supported the students.
Please read the new timetable carefully as some changes were made and new assessment or other dates have been added.

Congratulations to our IGCSE students. There is no secret to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure. Well done!
This year we are again proudly looking at the overall performance of our students, the fourth IB year group we have had since becoming an IB world school. So far it is the best year group we have had at the State International School Seeheim-Jugenheim. Congratulations IB graduates! Thank you dear IB teachers for this impressive outcome! This year, 30 students were awarded the IB Diploma of which 19 were even awarded the Bilingual Diploma.
IB students at the SISS, who consider studying at a German university after they have successfully finished the IB Diploma Programme, may find interesting information about the recognition of the IB Diploma in the Download section.
On May 2nd, 2019, many parents and students from both, the Schuldorf Bergstraße and other schools, attended the IB Information Evening conducted by the IB Coordinator of the school. Those who could not attend can find the presentation in the download section of SISS Secondary or go directly to the document following the link .

Parents and students year 10 are cordially invited to come to the IB DP information evening after the Easter Holidays (see invitation letter). At this event you will be able to get a deeper insight into the IB Diploma Programme here at the State International School Seeheim. Please note this date down in your calendar! As it is the year 10 students who are thinking of – or who have already decided on – continuing their higher education here at the SISS at IB level, it is important for them (or their parents) to have enough time asking questions and getting satisfying answers. However, if year 9 parents/students want to attend to get a first closer overview of this programme, you are – of course – also welcome! I am looking forward to seeing you after the Easter Holidays.

During our 5th IGCSE Awards Ceremony we celebrated the successes of our students. Our school is one of over 10,000 schools in more than 160 different countries which offer Cambridge qualifications aimed at developing learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged - in short: equipped for success in the fast-changing modern world.
This is the timetable for those students retaking their exams. They have to be at school 15 minutes before the exams start meeting with the IB Coordinator (Mr Scheuerpflug) in his office.
"The administration of the Schuldorf Bergstraße sincerely congratulate the May 2018 graduates of the State International School Seeheim-Jugenheim. They can be highly applauded for their hard work, focus and commitment!

Nothing is more inspirational than crowds of students walking under blazing heat for a good cause. This year’s 10th walkathon was just as motivating as the other ones, with pupils, parents and even teachers running laps to raise money for a purpose they believe in. The money raised this time was for kids in Uganda, who have limited access to clean drinking water and proper toilets.
