Wir, die Schüler der Klasse 8bG des Schuldorfs Bergstraße nehmen am „Students for President“ Projekt der FAZ (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) teil. Während dem Unterricht arbeiteten wir Schüler an einer ersten Amtsrede als Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika.
Es war uns freigestellt ein Video zu drehen, eine Rede zu schreiben, einen Blog zu gestalten oder ähnliches. Die fertigen Projekte wurden an die FAZ geschickt und diese wertet zwischen verschiedensten Projekten verschiedener Schulen aus. Dieser Wettbewerb fand auf Englisch statt und wird am Schuldorf von der 8.bilingual Klasse im Politik- und Wirtschaftsunterricht von Frau Cipressi-Hoheisel vertreten.
Vielleicht wissen sie es schon, aber das Schuldorf Bergstraße wurde ursprünglich aus einer Idee von Amerikanern, angelehnt an das amerikanische Schulsystem, gegründet. Außerdem gibt es auch die SISS (State International School Schuldorf), einen internationalen Schulzweig an unserer Schule. Im Schuldorf haben wir viele Aktionen und AGs auf Englisch und auch eine bilinguale Klasse pro Jahrgang. Diese hat Geschichte und Bio oder Politik und Wirtschaft auf Englisch.

Here is the English version of our text:
We, the students of the class 8bG of Schuldorf Bergstraße take part in the “students for president” project of the FAZ. In the lessons we worked on the first Inaugural speech as the president of USA. We were free to make a movie, write a speech, make a blog or something similar. The projects were sent to the FAZ and they will choose between all those projects of different schools. This competition was held in English and is represented by the 8. bilingual class in the politics and economy lessons by Mrs. Cipressi-Hoheisel. Maybe you already know, but the Schuldorf Bergstraße was co-founded by Americans and planned according to the American community school concept. Furthermore, there is the SISS (State International School Schuldorf). In Schuldorf we have many activities and workshops in English and one bilingual class per school year. The bilingual class has history and bio or politics and economy in English.
