This statement applies to parents of children whose date of birth is between 01 July 2008 and 30 June 2010.

We are writing to inform you that we are currently extremely full in years 7 and 8. For this reason we are not able to invite your child for an entrance assessment.

We will keep your application on record for the remainder of this school year and we will contact you if any opportunities arise.

Please note that this is a decision based on internal constraints and we cannot reply to further enquiries due to the amount of applicants.

IB students who would like their IB diploma to be recognized by the HKM to study in Germany, the “Allgemeine Hochschulzugangsberechtigung”, need to read the following documents carefully and prepare documents in advance in order to apply at university in time.

Newcomers or those returning need to get in touch with the IB coordinator for further consultation.

Before a new student applies, they have to read the IB information and application to school documents first.

We are now allowed to meet in person for the IB information evening in the Auditorium in SISS Secondary. As of today, the G3 regulations apply (recovered, vaccinated or showing a negative test result from that day).

The meeting takes place on March 15th at 7 PM.

This meeting is primarily for Y10 parents.

All documentation from that meeting will be uploaded on this website once the meeting took place.

Since we have limited space available due to existing corona-regulations I ask you to limit the number of people per family. Only if absolutely necessary there can be at most two persons per student attending that meeting.

If a Y9 parent wants to attend, they need to ask beforehand sending a note to the IB coordinator directly.

Congratulations to all our IB students, who successfully finished their two-year IB diploma programme at a time severely influenced by the pandemic. The results achieved are even more impressive considering these conditions as they already are! 

Thank you IB teachers and SISS teaching assistants for your support that resulted in these outstanding results!

“Study Leave” this year starts April 19th. The first exams will take place 29th April.

During Study Leave, students can still meet with subject course teachers individually if they have questions.

The IBO announced yesterday the following: “Based on the information provided by your school and in line with local or national health and safety restrictions you are considered able to administer examinations, therefore your students will be awarded results through the examination route.” If the situation between now and exams changes for our school due to mandated school closure, government restrictions or mandated quarantine, we will inform the IBO immediately highlighting the specific scenario affecting our school.
