Well done SISS Primary!
The Read-a-Thon 2016 was yet again a successful fund-raising event for our school.
Swimming festival (Schwimmfest der Grundschulen)
On February 17th, the annual “Schwimmfest der Grundschulen” took place. Eleven schools from the school district Darmstadt-Dieburg met at the indoor pool in Groß-Zimmern. Eight children from the SBS Grundschulzweig and the SBS Internationaler Schulzweig SISS Primary represented the Schuldorf Bergstraße.

On the 16th February our SISS Primary children went on their trip to the Staatstheatre Darmstadt to see the play “Peterchen´s Mondfahrt”.
To: All Our Open Day 2016 Volunteers!
We realize how valued weekends are and greatly appreciate the time our Year 4 bakers and Year 3 Café helpers volunteered to make yesterday’s Open Day a success in welcoming visiting parents to our school! Thanks to your efforts, 120 Euro was raised which will go towards new books for the DAZ and EAL classrooms!
Fire drill on Wednesday, 10th February
Wednesday's fire drill was unpleasant for many due to the cold, drizzly
weather. We wanted to remind all parents
that since a fire drill may occur in any kind of weather, please be sure that
you provide enclosed, rubber-soled shoes for your child to wear indoors.
