School routines in May 2021

Dear Parents of SISS Primary,

With reference to the most recent decisions of the Hessian Ministry of Education, it is very likely that all children will have daily classes again in the course of the next week. We are still waiting for the exact date to be announced by the school authorities - we may be able to start with all children back in school as early as Monday.

Mrs Martini-Appel will inform the school community as soon as the exact date has been announced.

Despite the declining incidence numbers and the fact that schools will be open to all children in primary schools, the current hygiene regulations are still applicable:

• The children remain in their cohorts throughout their day in school.

• Staggered breaks still apply - both for playtimes and for snack/lunch time.

• Masks are compulsory for pupils and teachers.

• Antigen Rapid Tests are still carried out 2 times a week –once all children are back the testing will be taking place on Mondays and Thursdays.

Due to the upcoming change in school days, we kindly ask all parents whose children attend supervision to keep the supervision team updated in case there are changes regarding supervision times. Please note that clubs are still not available - the children remain in cohorts during Supervision hours.

Hot lunch will then be available for all children.

We are looking forward to seeing all children back in their classes soon,
