We wish you and your family a wonderful and relaxing autumn holiday,
stay safe and healthy.
As already announced in the letter from the Hessian Minister of Education of 12 July 2021, prevention measures will once again be carried out in the first two weeks of school after the autumn holidays (from 25 October to 5 November).
This means specifically:
1. The obligation to wear a medical mask applies again during lesson time in the classrooms.
2. The rapid antigen test is carried out 3 times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Children who do not take part in the rapid test at school must present a negative test evidence three times a week instead of twice a week during these two weeks.
The compulsory test does not apply to already fully vaccinated or recovered pupils on presentation of appropriate proof.
Please note: In general, after a confirmed case of infection in a class/cohort, a mask must be worn during lesson time in this class/cohort for 14 days. Furthermore, in the event of an outbreak in the school, the health department may order the wearing of masks.
And finally, a kind reminder to please check and comply with the current entry regulations when travelling abroad. If you need to quarantine on 25.10.21 for travel or other reasons, it is essential to inform the school office.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Uta Wetterich October 2021
