We would like to inform you about a few modifications on the school authorities’ part.
Testing in school:
The obligation to test three times a week for pupils who have not been vaccinated or who have not recovered remains in place for the time being.
In case of a positive tested child the class/ learning group will test daily for only 7 days instead of 14 days.
Pupils who have been vaccinated or have recovered can still take part in the tests at school on a voluntary basis (parents’ permission required).
Masks in school:
As of Monday, 7 March 2022, pupils will no longer have to wear masks in the classroom while seated at their desks. The obligation to wear masks inside the school building, in the corridors, bathrooms etc. remains. We also strongly recommend to wear masks in class in case an infection case has occurred in the learning group.
Masks outside the school building, e.g. in the playground, are then no longer necessary.
Please note that the regulations regarding shortening periods of quarantine did not change.
Finally, the school still strongly recommends that children who show signs of illness stay at home for one or two days as a precaution.
Thank you for your cooperation.
We wish you and your children a relaxing five days short break,
Uta Wetterich, 27th February 2022
