This morning, we had very special visitors for the flex classes: Ms Süß from the Darmstädter animal shelter and her wonderful dog Uschi came by for a visit. For the fourth year in a row, the children had collected donations for the animals at the shelter, which Ms Süß had come to pick up today.
The children were able to learn about work at the shelter and ask questions, as well as interact with Uschi the dog. The guests left smiles on the faces of the children, whose generous donations matched the spirit of the holiday season. A big thank you to Ms Süß and Uschi, as well as to the children and the parents!
