On Friday, the 23rd of January, the whole SISS Primary had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy a performance of “Tom Sawyer” at the Staatstheater Darmstadt.
Each class had been introduced to the story previously, allowing the children to fully follow the adventures of Tom, Huck, and Becky in their small hometown close to the Mississippi river. The play, set in the 1840s, was portrayed in the theater by a spectacular stage set.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank Friends of SISS, the sponsors of the event, for inviting the children to experience this timeless classic.
