3bWW – Residential Class Trip – Erbach

Group Photo SchneekugelThe class 3B – the Wonderful Whales – recently enjoyed their trip to Erbach from March 18th to March 20th, 2026. For weeks beforehand, the excitement had been building, and everyone was very much looking forward to the experience—especially the chance to spend two nights and three days with their classmates, away from home.

Glucksfabrik Group PhotoWe were lucky to arrive on a beautiful, sunny day. After settling into the hostel—and mastering the challenge of making our own beds—we took a walk through the charming town to the Glücksfabrik. Originally, we had planned to visit the castle, but it was closed for renovations, so we changed our plans.

The Glücksfabrik turned out to be a great choice: it is an interactive experience museum, flagship store, and café of a well-known design manufacturer for plastic products. We were able to learn about the company’s history since 1912 and even watch parts of the production process. The highlight for the children was creating their own “Schneekugel or Glückskugel.” Afterwards, there was plenty of time to play, as the museum offered a great playground. Visiting the Glücksfabrik might have brought us some extra luck, as the weather stayed beautifully sunny throughout our trip.

The next day focused on teamwork, with fun team-building activities that encouraged cooperation and helped everyone grow closer as a group. We also spent lots of time outdoors and ended the day with a campfire, enjoying stockbrot and roasting marshmallows together.

After two days full of fun, laughter, and shared experiences, everyone returned home happily tired, with many great memories of our time in Erbach.
